The package

The Central Northern Entry forms part of Sydney Metro City & Southwest at Central Station. FR2 contributed alongside WSP.

Central is the busiest interchange on the network and a heritage site, so new entries and concourse connections are built in confined spaces between structures that must stay in service and elements that cannot be altered. The sequence in which work is done, and how pedestrians are moved around it, tends to govern the programme more than the construction itself.
