OXER
OXER is a specialised global engineering firm, founded in 2009, that designs equipment and technology for large-scale mining operations, and also works across the food industry and retail. It operates in Australia and Chile. It was created as a spin-off of INSESA — Insesa Ingeniería y Servicios S.A., building on that firm’s machinery design and manufacturing capability.
Background
OXER’s work sits at the point where heavy industry meets automation: industrial innovation, robotisation and remote sensing applied to equipment that has to survive a working mine. Designing that equipment is one problem; installing and commissioning it inside an operating mine is another, and it is the second one FR2 recognises from rail. Production cannot stop for the works, access comes in negotiated windows, and a slipped window can cost far more than the hours inside it.
What OXER does
- Multidisciplinary design — custom engineering and complex problem-solving for major corporations.
- Advanced technology — robotisation, automation and current practice integrated into heavy industry.
- Mining solutions — specialised equipment, tools and devices built for the conditions of modern mining.
Projects
FR2’s project record is listed in full on Our Experience. Specific OXER engagements are not itemised here.
Capabilities and services
Construction planning
Methodology, staging and access strategy built around how the work is actually delivered.
Scheduling
Critical-path baselines, live programme management, progress tracking and forecasting.
Constructability
Reviews and reports that surface buildability risk while the design can still change.
Commercial management
Contract administration, variations and the record-keeping that supports entitlement.
People
FR2 is a small team, and the same people carry the work across engagements. The full team — roles, background and the capability matrix showing who covers what — is on Who We Are.
