FR2 – InfrastructureAcciona Ferrovial Joint Venture
AFJV is the joint venture between Acciona and Ferrovial, two international infrastructure contractors, formed to deliver major transport packages in Australia.
Background
AFJV holds the design-and-construct contract for the Sydney Metro West Central Tunnelling Package, awarded July 2021 at $1.96 billion. Joint ventures of this scale are formed for major tunnelling and station packages, where the bonding capacity, plant and international delivery experience required exceed what a single contractor would carry.
